Bauchi CSO lauds Gov Bala for health, education sector development

Members of a Bauchi-based CSO, Journalists for Public Health and Development Initiative (J4PD) have congratulated the State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed for clocking the first one year of his second term in office.

The CSO in a statement by its Executive Director, Elizabeth Nange Kah observed that “For the health sector, the last one year has witnessed tremendous growth and development through many interventions.”

The intervention included the rehabilitation and upgrading of health facilities especially at rural areas thereby making healthcare services delivery easily accessible to the people.

Also, the state has provided an enabling environment for international partners to operate thereby improving effective and efficient healthcare service delivery through supportive roles.

“J4PD is particularly delighted for the reactivation of the Renal Centre at the State Hospital, a development that has now made accessing such services readily available and affordable to the people particularly the less privileged,” it added.
