Benue: Ado NULGE disowns petition against LG Executive Council

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, of Ado Local Government of Benue state has disowned a petition against the local government executive council of the union and passed a vote of confidence on them.

The Ado NULGE made this known on Tuesday at the end of their congress meeting held at the Council’s secretariat in Igumale.

They pledged their total support and allegiance to the leadership of the union under the able chairmanship of Comrade Agbese Onazi.

In the resolutions taken at the end of their meeting, dissociating themselves from the actions of one Mr. Agbo Agbese, the members accused him of dubiously collating fake signatories of some members to mastermind a petition against the union’s leadership .

The congress noted that despite the hands of brotherhood extended to Mr. Agbo, whose salary payment point is still in Agatu LGC but worked in Ado LGC, he was bent in creating division and laying false allegation of misappropriation against the union’s leadership.

The members, therefore, enjoined all NULGE officials both state and national, members of the public as well State Government, law enforcement agencies to disregard any publication or petition from michief makers.

The Ado NULGE, however, warned Mr. Agbo to desist from using the name of the union as an instrument to fight and pull down the administration of his immediate younger brother, Hon. Charles Agbese, who is the caretaker committee chairman for Ado LGC

They unanimously pledged their unalloyed support and corporation to the leadership of the union, both at the local, state and national levels for the overall development of Benue State and Nigeria.
