The ‘Oluwanishola’, Lagos home of billionaire industrialist, AlhajiRasakOkoya is regarded as Nigeria’s most popular celebration ground. In the past years the expansive mansion, which housed luxurious apartments and chalets had hosted the most elaborate celebrations, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other important occasions with guests understanding the purpose of being invited to such events.
The most recent occasion held at the palatial Lagos castle was a two-in-one celebration, the 47th birthday of Alhaja Sade Okoya and also her 25th wedding anniversary to the Lord of the estate, AlhajiRasakOkoya.
Their love story, told and re-told is the most popular in Lagos, usually carrying a wish and themed in love, hard work, loyalty, resilience, and many more crystalled into 25 years and called for a celebration that as predicted sent the city into a frenzy.
The party started with prayers from Islamic clerics who prayed for long life and wished the family more happiness and endless love.
The family’s official MC, Tee A was on hand as he catered to the event while the Sharp Band thrilled the guests to soul-filled music.
Spotted at the event were Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Oba AbdulwasiuOmogbolahanLawal, Prince BisiOlatilo, OtunbaNiyi Adebayo, Chief OluOkeowo, Chief EmekaAnyaoku, Chief AdebutuKessington, Chief Samuel Adedoyin, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa and many other regular stoppers at the Okoya’s residence.
