Eruwa Poly alumni mourn death of governing council member, Prof Ojo

The Alumni Association of the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa, Oyo State has expressed condolences over the demise of a member of the institution’s governing council, Professor Abiodun Ojo, who died on Tuesday.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the pioneer president of the association, Prince Jamiu Jelili Aderemi, the alumni identified the contribution of the late Professor to the institution and society at large.

The statement reads, “We mourn the loss of a distinguished academic, a visionary leader and a true asset to our society. Professor Abiodun Ojo’s remarkable contributions to education and society have left an indelible mark that will be remembered and celebrated for generations to come.

“As a member of the governing council during his lifetime, Professor Ojo’s dedication and service have helped to shape the academic landscape and governance of our institution, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.

“I extend my deepest sympathies to the school management, under the leadership of Eng. Gbade Akinteye, the Governor of Oyo State, Eng. Oluseyi Makinde, and the entire community of Ibarapa. May they find strength and solace during this time of mourning.

“To the family, of the deceased, I offer my thoughts, prayers, and support. May you find comfort in the cherished memories and profound impact he has had on the lives of many.

“His dedication, wisdom, and passion for education will always be remembered and celebrated.“
