EXTRA: Ododo lists meeting with NSA as part of 100-day in office achievement


He succeeded Yahaya Bello, a former governor of the state, who served from 2016 to 2024.
He categorised the achievement into five major categories namely; “governance, agriculture, education, health care and general information.

Usman Ododo, governor of Kogi, has listed some of his achievements to commemorate his 100 days in office.
Ododo was sworn in as the governor of the state on January 27, 2024.
Ododo, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the November 2023 governorship election in the state.
He took the oath of office at the inauguration ceremony in Lokoja, the state capital.
Ododo shared his first 100 days achievements on his X account on Wednesday.
He categorised the achievement into five major categories namely; “governance, agriculture, education, health care and general information.”
Surprisingly, the governor listed meeting with Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA), and home coming of his excellency to a grand reception in Okene as part of his achievements.

The achievements includes;
GOVERNANCE
1. Announcement of the FIRST SET OF APPOINTMENTS on the first day of office

3. Screening/Swearing-in of New Commissioners and Senior Aides to the Governor
4. First courtesy visit by Ife-Olukotun Community in Yagba East Local Government Area

6. Joint Meeting of the Governors of Kogi, Ondo, Taraba with the Hon. Minister of Agriculture & Food Security, SenatorAbubakar Kyari.
