Popular Nigerian Nollywood actor James Ikechukwu Esomugha, known as Jim Iyke, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in Ghana.
The popular actor was conferred with the title of, ‘Ohadike 1 of Ndigbo” by His Royal Highness, the Eze Ndigbo Ghana, Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu.
According to Dr. Chukwudi, the Nollywood superstar was recognised for his accomplishments and contributions to the African entertainment industry and the Igbo people.

Nigerian celebrities, including music star D’banj, actor Alex Ekubo and reality TV star, Teddy A, were conferred chieftaincy titles in 2018.
Jim Iyke began acting in 2001 and has had a successful career. He is widely loved, and many of his fans and well-wishers have congratulated him after his coronation.
