In-form Nigerian striker Gift Orban has set social media alight following his three-minute hattrick for Gent against Istanbul Basakshehir in the UEFA Conference League on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Orban has been a revelation ever since joining Gent from Norwegian side Staebek in the January transfer window.
Orban won the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month for Gent in February.
The three-minute hat-trick comes on the heels of Orban’s four goals in a single match for Gent in the Belgian Pro League
@PoojaMedia Gift Orban just scored a hattrick in 34 minutes for Gent in the Europa Conference League. Remember he scored 4 goals in the league over the weekend. This is Super Eagles’ call-up form. Wow

@AndrewMaclean_ Gent’s Gift Orban must have one of the best starts to a professional football career ever? The 20-year-old Nigerian has 31 goals in his first 33 senior appearances – averaging a goal every 80 minutes (with 45 minutes left to play today against Istanbul Basaksehir). Crazy.
@RyanTaylorSport Gift Orban, Victor Boniface & Tolu Arokodare. Remember these names. Making waves in Belgium & on European stage. Throw in Victor Osimhen & Terem Moffi – future looks very bright for Nigeria. Quickly approaching a golden generation for the Super Eagles.
