Gov Bago mourns NIPR treasurer, Muhammad Alli

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed shock over the death of the Treasurer of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Niger State Chapter, Alhaji Muhammad Alli.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor said the passing away of Alhaji Alli is indeed a great loss to the entire State.

He recounted how committed the deceased was, especially during his active service at the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) where he served as the pioneer Public Relations Officer until his retirement.

The Governor also noted that his handwork, dedication, and trustworthiness earned him the position of treasurer in the recent election of the NIPR of the Niger State Chapter.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Alli and encouraged them to be comforted by the fact that the deceased lived a good life.

The Governor also commiserated with the leadership and members of the NIPR Niger State Chapter over the demise of its treasurer.

He prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljanna Firdausi as well as comfort the family members, NIPR Niger State Chapter, and others affected by the death.

Late Alhaji Muhammad Alli died at the age of 60 at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Specialist Hospital Minna after a brief illness.

Late Alli is survived by an aged mother, two wives, nine children, and three grandchildren.
