Governor Uba Sani meets Umahi on key road projects

The meeting centered on the progress of four key road projects

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, held a meeting with the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, on Tuesday to discuss the status of ongoing road projects in the state.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Works headquarters in Abuja, where Governor Sani paid a visit to the minister.
According to a statement released by the governor’s office on Tuesday, the meeting centered on the progress of four key road projects: the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road, the Eastern Bypass in Kaduna, the Kafanchan-Kwoi Road construction, and the Mando-Birnin Gwari Road.
The discussion aimed to ensure the timely completion of these critical infrastructure projects, which are vital to the state’s development.
“I was pleased to hear of the progress of other important road projects such as the Sokoto-Zamfara-Katsina-Kaduna Road and the Sokoto-Badagry Road project.
“These road projects, when completed, will ease transportation for our citizens, stimulate economic development, facilitate communication, strengthen social and commercial ties, and bridge the gap between rural and urban communities,” the governor said.

Sani commended the minister for his efforts in actualising President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at spreading development across the country and addressing infrastructural deficits.
The governor also expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, particularly on the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road project, which is expected to be completed next year.
