The Amalgamated Computer Stationery and Allied Trade Association of Nigeria have called on government to involve the youths in governance for their collective voices to count.
Speaking at the association just concluded election, where he was elected, the President, Dr. Chris Onyenka, said with credible elections, responsible youths would actively participate in electoral processes.
He added that credible elections could be held in the country if only corruption and malpractices were eradicated.
Onyenka, who said electioneering process should be based on trust and impartiality for the emergence of credible leaders, promised to be a president for all and not a section within the association, thanking all members for be orderly during the election, thereby bringing to end the crisis that had bedeviled the association for so many years from having elected officers.
The Vice President, Mr. Praise Justine pledged that the new executive members would fulfill all their electoral promises to association members.
