Nigerian skitmaker, Oladapo Gbadamosi, otherwise known as Officer Woos, has shared insights into his perspective on comedy, portraying it not only as a profession but as an intrinsic part of his essence.

Officer Woos has soared to prominence in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, captivating audiences with his unique brand of humour and captivating performances.

His distinctive style, characterized by witty improvisation and comedic timing, has solidified his position as a beloved figure in the industry.

In an interview with R, Officer Woos articulated his deep-rooted connection to comedy, affirming, “Comedy is not just a business for me, it’s a lifestyle.”

According to him,humour transcends mere amusement, adding that it permeates every aspect of his life and identity. With an unwavering commitment to crafting meaningful content and spreading joy, Officer Woos noted that he embodies the essence of laughter as a fundamental aspect of human experience.

Speaking about the generation of his character style, Officer Woos emphasised his love for acting and desire to stand out in the crowded comedy landscape.

Contrary to popular belief, he revealed that his stammering persona is a deliberate artistic choice rather than a reflection of reality. “Stammering is an artistic choice and versatility rather than a reflection of my reality”, he added.

The goal, according to him id to Immerse himself in his craft, “I want to channel my character, infuse authenticity and depth into my performances.  I believe that my dedication to my craft and commitment to authenticity set me apart as a versatile and skilled entertainer, and has earned me admiration from fans and peers alike.”

As he looks ahead to the future, he said he remained optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead, particularly in the realm of movie production and business ventures within the entertainment industry.
