Alanta based singer, Olakunle Tomomewo, popularly known as Ice K, member of former Artquake group, and his siblings staged a scintillating 90th birthday celebration for their mother, Madam Janet Wura Tomomemo recently.
The topnotch party-turned-carnival held place at the prestigious De Orange Event Hall, Oko-Oba Agege -Oko Oba, Lagos hosted many music stars.
Ice K, who is the last born of his mum, stunned dignitaries and guests with his performances on stage alongside music stars including Daddy Showkey, Tony Tetuila, Klever Jay, Sam Oluwabiyi and Impressive Band.
Monique also thrilled the audience and the celebrant with her gospel vibes.
The master of ceremony, Ayo Ajewole (aka Woli Agba), spiced up the event with his classic brand. Fujicologist maestro also dazzled all and sundry at the event.
In his remarks, Ice K noted that throwing up the memorable event is to appreciate his mother for her care and support since his birth.
“If I have more grace, I will celebrate my mother better than this. But this is the little way I am saying thank you Mum for being there for me and family at large. You have labored. I hope you eat more fruits from your sweat. I urge everyone to join me in celebrating my mother at 90,” Ice K said.
