Barcelona’s scoring struggles continued as they were held to a goalless draw against Getafe on Sunday, marking their third consecutive match across all competitions without finding the back of the net.
Despite the drought, the Blaugrana remain firmly in control of the LaLiga table with an 11-point lead over second-place Real Madrid.
Raphinha and Alejandro Balde both hit the woodwork for Barca in the first half, but Getafe proved to be a tough opponent in their fight to avoid relegation. Former Camp Nou forward Munir El Haddadi had a close call with a headed shot, while Enes Unal missed a crucial opportunity for Getafe when he headed over the crossbar from close range.

Barca picked up the pace after the break, with Robert Lewandowski coming close with a glancing header from Jordi Alba’s cross. However, Getafe’s defence continued to hold strong, and Barca struggled to break through.
Xavi made substitutions midway through the second half, bringing on Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres to provide a spark.
David Soria made an excellent save to deny Raphinha’s powerful shot, and Gavi missed the mark with a late chance for Barca. At the other end, Borja Mayoral missed a great opportunity to steal the win for Getafe when he drilled a shot wide in the final moments.
Despite the disappointing draw, Barca remains in a strong position in the LaLiga title race. Meanwhile, Getafe can take heart from their hard-fought point against one of the league’s top teams as they battle to secure their place in the top flight.
