Lawmaker covers exam fees for 102 students in Bauchi LG

A member representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, has fully paid all the required fees for 102 students to enable them to write the 2024 NECO exams.

The development is in his resolve to consolidate the gains of his educational intervention in Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, as the beneficiaries are the graduating students of the gifted secondary schools located in Sade, Soro, Kafin Madaki, and Darazo towns.

The 4 Gifted Secondary Schools are special schools established by the office of the Reps Member in 2021 for the best junior secondary school graduating students to pursue their senior secondary classes, one in each of the 4 State Assembly Constituencies of Darazo-Ganjuwa federal constituency.

The Four Secondary Schools, alongside the Special Primary School, Lanzai, provide a STEM-based foundation for students at free tuition and complete free school kits (uniforms, shoes, bags, and books), while Lanzai Special Primary School provides free lunch to pupils as an addition.

The objective behind the educational intervention by Rep. Mansur Manu Soro that started in 2021 is ultimately to prepare the younger ones for the task of tomorrow’s leadership, where our sons and daughters from the constituency can compete with their peers from other parts of the country.

Aleeyu Darazo, DG New Media to Rep. Mansur Manu Soro, stated in a statement that the efforts of the establishment of the schools have started yielding positive results as the students are expected to write the NECO exams.
