Jorge Messi, the father of Lionel Messi, has condemned three recent reports about his son, warning that false information will no longer be tolerated.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward is currently in the final six months of his contract with the option to extend for a year, and the club and his former employers, Barcelona, are both considering contract extensions.

“How long are you going to keep on lying?” Jorge wrote. “Where is the proof? Oh, it’s all fake, OK!

“No matter how many they write, don’t believe in any of it. WE WON’T TOLERATE ANY MORE LIES TO GAIN FOLLOWERS.”

Jorge also disputed allegations that his son was demanding a significant role in PSG’s decision-making process.
