At least two persons have lost their lives in a ghastly auto crash in Ogun State.
One other person sustained injuries in the accident which happened at Iyana Odogo, on Ilaro-Owode Road, on Friday.
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun confirmed the incident, saying a total number of seven people were involved in the mishap.
Florence Okpe, the spokesperson of FRSC, in a statement issued in Abeokuta disclosed that that the accident occurred at 6:00 p.m.
According to her, the accident involved a Mitsubishi car marked JJJ 854 JH and a truck with registration number T12224LA.
She that four men and three women were involved in the accident.
”One woman got injured while two men were killed from the crash.
” The suspected causes of the crash were obstruction and speed violation,” she said.
The FRSC spokesperson said that the injured victim and the deceased were taken to General Hospital, Ilaro.
The sector commander, Anthony Uga, advised motorists to drive within the stipulated speed limit and always obey traffic rules and regulations
