Olori Caroline Olateru-Olagbegi shines at 90

She is a queen, her soul is royalty! American writer, Adrian Michael’s simple quote defined Owo queen, Olori Caroline Olateru-Olagbegi, who is celebrating her 90th birthday a few weeks from now.

The widow of late monarch, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Olateru Olagbegi, will be celebrated by her children in a four-day event lined up of different activities for the 90th birthday celebration.

Starting with a holy communion, and later a praise concert at the St Andrew’s Cathedral Church, Owo, the celebration will be witnessed by friends, families and admirers who will converge on the sleepy town in honour of a woman who devoted her life to serving God and the people.

The climax of the celebration is on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023, where a thanksgiving service will take place at the St Andrew’s Cathedral followed by a grand reception at the Boje Hall of the Mydas Hotel, Owo.
