Onitiri applauds Tinubu over new Lagos-Calabar coastal road

Prominent Lagosian and property developer, Chief Adesunbo Onitiri has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for awarding contract for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Expressway.

Describing the project as a way of tackling security, and revamping Nigeria’s economy, Onitiri said the award of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road contract is one of the best decisions the government.

He, however, implored the president to involve Lagosians to be stakeholders in the gigantic and laudable project.

The social critic also expressed satisfaction with the government’s proactive efforts to strengthen the Naira against the dollar, particularly in reducing flight fares to Europe and America to more affordable levels, making travel within reach for ordinary Nigerians.

“This is a gigantic road project that with no doubt, will open up our Coastal rural areas to rapid development and enhance Nigerians’ mobility. It will further enlarge Lagos and entire Nigeria’s economy.

“Besides, l commend Mr President immensely for carrying out the comprehensive overhauling of the Third Mainland Bridge which has brought succour to Lagosians’ travel time and further enhanced the economy of Lagos state,” Onitiri added.

According to Onitiri, the taste of the pudding is in the eating. “Therefore, it’s time for Nigerians to support this administration and pray fervently for its success.”

He urged Nigerians to keep their hopes alive and stop cursing and bad-mouthing the country which is flowing with milk and honey.

“We must speak well of our country and stand well for her success. We have no other country we can call our own. Nigeria will surely be great again,” he said.
