20-year-old Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga has attracted the attention of several Premier League teams, as well as Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Representatives from Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur were present at a recent match against Mallorca. Arsenal, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, and Newcastle have all previously watched the Spain U-21 midfielder this season.
Veiga has had an impressive season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 27 La Liga games.

Manchester City is reportedly interested in signing him, and Real Madrid has held talks about a potential deal. However, Celta Vigo has set Veiga’s release clause at €40m, which would make him the club’s record sale if they agree to sell him. The previous record was set when Stanislav Lobotka transferred to Napoli for €20m in 2020.

Gabri Veiga’s career has been on the rise this season, and his performances have caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Despite interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid, a number of Premier League teams are also keen to sign him. Manchester City appears to be leading the race for his signature, but Real Madrid is still in contention.
Celta Vigo is likely to demand the full €40m release clause if they agree to sell Veiga, which could make him the club’s most expensive sale ever.
This could be a sticking point for some clubs, but Veiga’s talent and potential may make him worth the investment. It remains to be seen where Veiga will end up, but his future is certainly bright, and he is likely to continue to attract interest from top clubs around the world.
