Real estate practitioners commend Oyo gov on infrastructural development

Major practitioners in the real estate business in Iseyin, Iseyin local government area of Oyo State, have commended the State Governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, over what they described as infrastructural development in the ancient town and Oke-Ogun area.

The managing director of A-Day Property Management Agency (APMA), Alhaji Oladejo Taiwo, and Alhaji Sakiru Kolawole, owner of Oluwadamilare Real Estate Management (OREM), said this on Thursday in Iseyin while playing host to some business interests that came to the town in search of land for the establishment of a factory.

Alhaji Oladejo hinted that the opportunities enjoyed by real estate practitioners in Oyo State have multiplied since the beginning of Makinde’s administration in 2019, adding that multiple road networks around the Oke-Ogun area, especially Iseyin, call for daily prayer for the governor.

Alhaji Taiwo, popularly called Olowo-Ojumo, maintained that the Moniya-Iseyin, Iseyin-Oyo, and Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso roads have exposed the community’s real estate business to the outside world, as many investors daily throng Iseyin to farm in commercial quantity or establish agro-allied industries.

“We thank God for the blessing bestowed upon us through Governor Seyi Makinde for all these major projects that have helped expose our local economy to the outside world. Our young ones are now engaged in various skilled jobs.

“The establishment of LAUTECH’s campus in our dear town also gave us the opportunity to send our children to a public university of repute to study and be independent in the agricultural sector,” Alhaji Sakiru Kolawole added.

Chief Kolawole, who is the Otun Omojoda of Iseyinland, however, supported Alhaji Taiwo Oladejo to congratulate the newly-elected Chairman of the Iseyin local government, Hon. Rasak Fadiran, on his victory at the last local government election, saying the victory is an indication of new positive developments to be witnessed in Iseyin.
