The power of possibilities Part (II)

Last time we began talking about possibilities. What will you do if money is not an issue?

What will you do if impossibility is not possible?

What will you do if the right opportunity arises with the right resources?

How will your life be with the right people and resources?

“The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.”  John Sculley

Many times we are not operating at our desired level because of an impossibility thinking mindset so we operate either below our potential or just operate on a maintenance mode.

Two types of possibilities (1) Negative that breeds fear, barriers, hesitancy. (2) Positive possibilities that stirs up hope, drive and desire.

Don’t forget possibilities are: likelihoods, capabilities, potentials, prospects, achievables, feasibilities, attainable and these possibilities come into our mind through thoughts, the thoughts are representations of what can happen.

Possibilities come to your mind in the form of ideas, a particular line of thinking options, convictions, opinions, mental pictures, peculiar reasonings.

Possibilities are internal inputs into your mind so be careful what enters your mind, keep watch over your mind. Three critical issues:

1)    What you see?

2)    What you hear?

3)    What you think of?

How to open up to possibilities.

1)    Pray in tongues – makes you receptive to the Spirit.

2)    Meditate on the word of God and think great thoughts.

“Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible†. Cherie Carter-Scott

3)    When possibilities are not yet a reality, ask the right questions. Don’t ask, can I? Rather ask how can I? Asking the wrong question can open you to doubt and limit it and bind you. Asking the wrong question especially in your down moments has the best potential to make you see impossibility rather than possibilities.

For example , you need to buy property and you do not have enough funds /downward economic turn, don’t ask can we buy land with what is going on? Rather, ask how we can grow, increase and get funds.

4)    Visit places and people that provoke possibility thinking.

5)    Never speak of impossibility – not that we are a small company, we cannot afford it. Rather we are a growing business.
