Tinubu’s support group promises issue-based, peaceful campaigns

Iji urges support groups to harness for APC’s victory

Think Tinubu Movement (TTM), a support group for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has promised issue-based campaigns devoid of violence and urged other candidates’ support groups to embrace peace.

The group, at a press conference, yesterday, in Lagos where they unveiled Nigeria Youth Festival, Asiwaju Tinubu Edition, which will commence in October in Abuja and Rural Women Dwellers Emancipation & Gender Equality by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to begin in November, said they were optimistic that Tinubu would win the 2023 presidential election because of his widespread support and vast experience to solve myriad of challenges facing the country.

Director-General of TTM, Chief Segun Balogun Afolorunikan, who disclosed that the group had mapped out strategies to campaign to all households in Nigeria, said that with the acceptance of the candidature of Tinubu throughout the country, no other presidential candidate could muster such support.

Afolorunikan said that Tinubu had maintained principle of progressivism and welfarism, which he has been using to promote the well-being of all Nigerians, as against ultra-conservatism.

SIMILARLY, South-West Director-General of Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance (ATSCGG), Sola Iji, has reiterated the need for all support groups to synergise for victory.

He said it is important for the leadership of all the support campaign groups to work together for the victory of Tinubu in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Iji, who said this while meeting with all the ATSCGG support groups in Akure, yesterday, tasked them to strategise on how to win the state for the Tinubu-Shettima joint ticket next year.

He noted that the meeting became necessary to have all groups under an umbrella to ensure synergy of operations at the polls.
