UI, Edurex partnership will proffer solution to academic bottlenecks — VC

Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan,  Professor Kayode Adebowale, has said that the partnership between the institution and Edurex Academy would proffer solutions to academic bottlenecks through online courses and certifications.

Adebowale noted that the two institutions are committed to democratising learning in Nigeria, noting that the partnership would also bring boundless possibilities for learners seeking continuous development, professional skills, and certifications.

Speaking during the launching of partnership between UI and Edurex Academy, Edurex Academy, Adebowale said UI has always been at the forefront of educational excellence.

According to him, educational institutions must adapt and embrace the opportunities that digital advancement brings.

He said: “The partnership with Edurex Academy aligns seamlessly with our vision, as it enables us to leverage technology, make education more accessible, flexible, and tailored to the diverse needs of learners. Edurex Academy’s commitment to democratising learning resonates deeply with our own mission.

“Together, we aim to break barriers and ensure that every individual regardless of their background or circumstances, quality education.

In his remark, the Director of UI Distance Learning Centre, Professor Emmanuel Omobowale, commended Edurex for the partnership, saying: “Together we are laying a foundation for future where education knows no boundaries, and learners from around the globe have access to knowledge and skills needed for the future.”

Speaking on the occasion, founder, Edurex Academy, Adedotun Fasiku, who was represented by Mr Kayode Olaniyan, said the partnership would give opportunity to individuals to have access to knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.

He stated that the academy has always been driven by the mission to empower learners, saying they believe in the potential of every individual to learn, grow and contribute meaningfully to society.
