VIDEO: Yoruba chanter, Ajobiewe, settles rift between Ogogo, Yinka Quadri

Yoruba chanter, Sulaiman Aremu Ajilara, popularly known as Ajobiewe, has reconciled two veteran Nollywood actors, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) and Yinka Quadri.

The reconciliation came after Ajobiewe encouraged the actors to make peace at the housewarming ceremony of actor Yomi Fabiyi.

Speculations of a rift between the two actors became obvious when Yinka Quadri failed to attend the wedding ceremony of Ogogo’s daughter, Shakirat, last year.

However, in a recent video shared on X by Mrbhadoosky on Thursday, the actors finally made peace and hugged each other.

Captioning the video, he wrote, “The moment prominent Yoruba traditional chanter, Ajobiewe, reconciled Yinka Quadri (Kura) and Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) at Yomi Fabiyi’s Birthday Ceremony tonight. I never knew they were not on good terms. Friends since 1976 oooo. Ahhh.”

Reactions have continued to follow the development, with many expressing surprise that the legendary actors had not been on good terms.

Netizens praised the movie stars’ mature handling of their rift without airing their grievances on social media.

Reacting to the development, @AbiolaAdebisi7 wrote, “I was recently telling my mom about these two wonderful men. I noticed they don’t feature in the same movie as they did in the past. Never knew there was conflict between them. Thank God for AjobiEwe.”

Another user, @Dcsopetie tweeted, “Wow! I never knew they were not talking to each other, and how they hid it from the public is beyond me.”

“That’s what mature men do. Regardless of the fight, they won’t come online and be washing their linen like some boys were doing a few days ago. Kudos to Ajobiewe; it must have been a really big disagreement between them,” @Damilareodulesi opined.
