Many residents have been reportedly killed when some bandits attacked Unguwar Danko village in Birnin Gwari LGA of Kaduna.
Abubakar Abdullahi, a resident of the community, speaking to TheCable, said the bandits invaded the village on Wednesday with over 200 motorcycles.
He said the bandits shot sporadically, adding that many residents sustained injuries during the attack.
“The attack happened at Unguwan Danko in Dogon Dawa ward. They came in the evening and rode on more than 200 motorcycles,” he said.
Efforts to reach Mansur Hassan, police spokesperson in Kaduna, were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls or messages.
For over a few months, many communities have been attacked by bandits operating in the state.
